AFMA Scholarship Auction

One of the most exciting highlights of this year’s AFMA Convention was our annual

Scholarship Auction — and once again, our fair family showed up in a big way. Through

generous bidding, donated items, and lots of good-natured competition, we were able to

raise funds that will directly support students pursuing their education and future careers

in agriculture, fair management, and related fields.

The scholarship program is one of the most meaningful things we do together as an

association. Every dollar raised helps open a door for a young person who is already

involved in fairs and wants to continue learning, leading, and giving back to their

communities. The success of this year’s auction truly reflects the heart of our industry,

and we had an amazing time coming together to support it.

We want to extend a huge, heartfelt thank-you to Nick and Rachel Fowler with Fowler

Auctioneers. Their time, talent, and enthusiasm on the auction block played a major role

in the success of the event. They kept the energy high, the bids rolling, and the room

engaged — and we are incredibly grateful for their continued support of AFMA and our

scholarship recipients.

We would also like to give a very special thank-you to all of the counties and associate

members who donated items, contributed money, and volunteered their time to make

the auction possible. Your generosity, teamwork, and willingness to give truly embody

what the fair industry is all about.

We are blessed to be able to keep this tradition alive and hope to see it continue to

flourish in the future. Because of each of you, more students will now have opportunities

they might not otherwise receive. Together, we are not only supporting today’s fairs —

we are investing in the leaders who will guide them tomorrow.

See y’all in 2027!
